A site-specific dance performance set in the Lands End area of San Francisco.
All roads lead to The Lands End. The paths, the stories, the people. In a world where technology attempts to imitate humans, this site-specific performance will bring us back to the roots of Mother Nature and how people live in union with her. Through this idea, performers will embody masked characters created by Anastasia under movement direction from Mira. We invite the audience to deepen their connection to the land through the characters' movement and reverence for their environment.

Is there a moment in life at which one leaves their egg? What does it mean for one’s shell to be broken? Are they safe? At risk? Is the risk worth it?
Memories from the Womb uses an experimental dance form to explore how the amorphous, internal self is contained within a multitude of bodily forms. Furthermore, how the physical bodily form must navigate the arbitrary social systems it is born into.
This original piece was performed from May 7th-9th. More iterations and extensions on this research are in progress.
